GIS Operations
A
Geographic Information System (GIS) is a group of technologies used to
create, manage, view and analyze data geographically. GIS integrates data from different sources, geospatially enables it, and makes that information accessible for analysis.
CitywideGIS is tasked with:
- Development and maintenance of GIS basemap.
- Oversight on GIS enterprise geodatabase design.
- Provision GIS technical support to Departments.
- Production and maintenance of standard GIS Maps.
Requirements For Public Data Request:
- Public requests are taken by a formal written submission.
- Payment for requested data is made to the City Tax Office.
- Data is processed on submission of receipt of payment.
