Tenants may fill out a complaint form in the office of rent control if they believe that a number of violations exist in the property they are renting or if their rent has been increase over and above the consumer price index, which is the allowable amount in accordance with the rent control ordinance.

There is a fee of $5.00 to file this complaint.
