Designed to assist Moderate and Low Income City Residents with assistance with their electric & gas shut-off notices. The program is to prevent homelessness and will assist with up to $200.00 toward their PSE & G bill. This program is a one - time allotment. Limited funds are available.

Requirements

Camden City Residents ONLY
Moderate and Low Income City Residents.
Funds are designed to assist active PSE & G services.
PSE & G bill must be in applicants name.
Must present current PSE & G shut-off notice.
Must show evidence of hardship.
Must show plans how payment will be made in the future.
Only if you don't qualify for any other services.
Program is on a first come, first serve basis.

Procedure

This program goes by appointment only. To schedule an appointment you can contact us at (856) 757-7339. Appointments are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am until 3:30am.

You would need to bring with you the following information in order for your application to be processed:

Verification of all income in the household
Verification of address
Verification of rent/mortgage being current
Recent copy of PSE & G shut-off notice
Photo I.D.

Please be advised that without this information you will have to reschedule your appointment.

Application Denial

Your application can be denied for the following reasons:

Applicant received excessive amount of funds from various agencies
No evidence of hardship
Excessive payment delinquencies
