The role of the Bureau of Payroll is to process payroll-related services to employees and retirees, including:
Ensure that employees are compensated at the rate of pay associated with the position.
Make voluntary payroll deductions as requested by employees.
Administration of the State’s pension for the employees of the City of Camden.
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY, the Payroll Bureau will no longer accommodate walk-ins, no Exceptions. Employees/Retirees will be assisted by appointment only, which can be scheduled for Tues., Wed. and Thurs, between 10 am and 3 pm. For appointments, please call (856) 757-7151 or in person between the hours of 9 am – 12 pm and 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm in the Finance Department, located in City Hall, Room 213.
