The Bureau of Recreation administers and operates a year round comprehensive mix of leisure time activities for residents of all ages, specifically youth. Program activities fall into three categories; Evening Recreation, Summer Recreation and Special Events. This Bureau is also responsible for issuing permits for the use of the city’s parks and playgrounds.
The City of Camden has two public pools, one in North Camden located next to the North Camden Community Center at 6th and Erie Streets, and the other in Centerville located at the Isabel Miller Community Center at 8th Street and Carl Miller Boulevard.
The pool located at the North Camden Community Center is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The pool is closed on Monday and Tuesday for maintenance.
The pool located at the Isabel Miller Community Center is open daily from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. The pool is closed on Wednesday and Thursday for maintenance.
The City’s spray pools are available to residents to provide relief from the heat. The City spray pools are open seven days a week from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Spray pools can be found at the following locations:
